You write well. So well, in fact, that it took me a minute to understand the full import of what you’re saying. It’s only possible to argue that the era of “social justice” has come to an end, replaced solely by economics, if you are not one of the people likely to be affected by social justice’s erasure. The idea that fear is now the natural order of things, due to our supposed return to good governance, is reprehensible. You have politely sidestepped any concern with the genuine panic others feel at the prospect of a Trump presidency. You ask for sympathy for the voters who supported Trump, casting a vote in favor of white nationalism and the politics of fear, while offering none for those targeted. You write well, but your ideas are terrifying.
